Whilst we hope poor attendance and/or punctuality will not occur, should it, it may affect re-enrollment being offered
Anyone taking photos/ film without coaching staff prior approval risks loosing child's place at the club immediately or at next re-enrollment
Session enrollment relates to specific time, day & venue, sessions are not inter-changeable
HOUSEKEEPING
Prompt timekeeping/punctuality is essential - child MUST BE READY TO START WITHIN 5 MINUTES of session start time and appropriately dressed (as above)
Bring non-fizzy drink
Parent/Guardian/Accompanying Adult, to: remain inside venues next to Hall Entrance at all times (to escort child to toilets/assist with any injury etc) and collect promptly at end of session; inform Staff before session of injuries or health issues that may affect involvement or safety of others. Our Saturday & Thursday sessions DO NOT operate on 'Drop & Go' basis.
As ‘Warm Up Activities’ are very important & essential part of getting your child ready to undertake exercise, any child not ready to start within first 5 minutes will not be allowed to join sessions that day - all times run according to clock within gymnastics hall only/ head coaches time keeping
Person completing Registration Form is solely responsible for; time keeping, attendance and payment of fees
If a Management Plan is required due to child’s medical of physical needs, for benefit of Child, Club & Others, parents must agree to strictly abide to it as part of continued membership of the Club
Monkeying Around or it’s Agents are not liable for damage or loss of; personal property, vehicles or other items - jewellery, watches, phones/ tablets must be retained by parents, children should not bring these into the gymnastics hall
Payments for any sessions missed, unable to attend or no longer attending are not reimbursed, nor if session canceled for reasons outside control of the Club (including stoppage, delay or cancellation if any child is injured during sessions)
In the event of evacuation for fire or other reason, Club staff will gather and escort children out of building, once attendance checks completed, children will be returned to parents. Parents must immediately vacate the building and not enter the gymnastics hall. Possessions only to be collected after official Fire Marshall approval to re-enter is given
As sessions currently operate in schools, all sessions are subject to requirements of the school i.e. exams/ performances/parents evenings etc... therefore all sessions & locations are subject to confirmation and may change at short notice to alternative time, day or even be canceled.
RESPECT & CONDUCT
Coaches & parents work together to develop enjoyable, engaging place for all the children. In that regard, any concerns regarding facilities within venues should be brought to attention of Head Coach
Opportunities for parents to take photos during sessions will be arranged occasionally however, during normal sessions, photos/filming is not allowed unless specifically permitted by Coaching Staff
Parents/ adults to only enter gymnastics hall if requested by Club Coach
Club operates a ‘sit-out from activities’ approach for either a short period or remainder of session if child not engaging or being disruptive, then matter discussed with parent after the session or as soon as possible
It’s hoped: repeated lateness, poor attendance or disruptive behaviour (of child or parent/guardian) won’t occur, however should it, this will prevent re-enrollment and/or termination of Club Membership with immediate effect (without reimbursement of fees) - all Club decisions are final
We kindly ask every parent, sibling, accompanying adult etc to respect the importance & safeguarding of ALL children and not take any photos/ film of either their own child or others whilst at the club without coaching staff prior approval on the day to do so. Anyone not adhering to this risks loosing child's place at the club immediately or at next re-enrollment
Any matters regarding Child Safeguarding & Welfare to be raised with Club Welfare Officer (by email in first instance) to Alex Fitton: alexandrajfitton@icloud.com
If wish to discuss matters, coaches can be approached between sessions however please do not to disturb ongoing sessions

Occasionally, owing to commitments of venue (e.g. exam periods) and/or coaching staff (e.g. attendance at competitions) sessions may not run or move to alternative days/venues – all dates, times and locations are subject to confirmation
We value the importance of having a competitive element for our gymnasts so may occasionally during sessions and/or the term run competitions/assessments either individually or groups
Our year end internal competitions reward best performing gymnasts on the day with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, additional discretionary 'Coaches Awards and/or Commendations' may also be handed out.
Our General Recreational Sessions do not compete in external competitions, this is however kept under review and some gymnasts maybe selected to compete.
If and when external competitions are entered, if selected, participating gymnasts will require a Club Competition Leotard and payment of associated entry fees - details will be provided when relevant.
